HSG and Hilversum miss chance to write History (zo 4 Juli)

In 2008 HSG Open wrote History because of the first GM result of Anish Giri.

In 2010 HSG and Hilversum miss a Chance to write even greater History.  Illya Nyzhnyk could have become the youngest GM at this moment!

After the 8^th round and after the correction of his opponents rating in the 4^th round (Roland ten Have) to 2200 Illya has a rating above 2600. He has played 3 GM’s. He has played against enough players of different Chess Federations.  But until now he has played against only 4 Title holders, where 5 are needed. This could be accomplished in the final round.  

But today Luck is not on his shoulder,  in the final round he has to play against a strong Dutch talent Eteinne Goudriaan, but not a Title holder.  

Very nice for Etienne, but very pity for HSG, Hilversum and especially for Illya.
